Routines

We are back to our weekly routine of work, daycare, playgroup, early intervention & the occasional late afternoon/evening having dinner at the block. Our days are way too full, our nights are way too short. Kim & I both suffer from insomnia, more than ever before. We are both always tired & juggle the tasks of getting up with the kids at 6.30 every morning (or earlier), taking care of the night wakers & staying up to catch up on dishes or my ebay work. I discovered Valerian capsules from the health food store last week, they work! I got 7 hours sleep with only short interruptions but was then sleepy the whole of the next day. So I'll be saving those for desperate times!

We have just had 9 days of rain & are expecting another 3 or 4. Kim's working on more windows & going well. 

I am ebaying like mad & also trying to edit photos from my 1st photo shoot of a friend's baby & 3 other children, which grew to include my friend's sister, her partner & their 4 month old. it was good fun & I'm pretty happy with the results, although I'm not happy with the sharpness (or lack of) of a lot of them.

I'm just doing freebies for friends to get some practice, hopefully in a year or so I'll be good enough that  people might want to pay me for it ( :

I have lots of photos of the house too of course but this is where my focus has been on the last could of weeks! The house is coming along nicely, Kim's doing the back bedroom windows now, then we only have the toilet & laundry to go, plus the double glazed windows in the kitchen. I'll try & post again very soon. Ivy is having a birthday party this Sunday (turning 3!) . Here's a photo I took yesterday for her party invitation.
